"It was the Indians’ way to pass through a country without disturbing anything; to pass and leave no trace,
like a fish through the water or birds through the air."
Willa Cather

Dear Friends,

Now in existence for over 30 years, Indian Grinding Rock Association continues to strive to expand its programs and offerings to our community. Our mission is  by planning, implementing, and evaluating fundraising campaigns, writing grants,  and creating strategic partnerships in the community to provide financial support to assist Indian Grinding Rock Historic State Park.  ”keep the park open for the public to enjoy...”

This year at Indian Grinding Rock State Historic Park promises to be one filled with opportunities to fulfill our mission.  We hope that you will be able to take part in one or more of the many exciting events that we are offering this year and experience firsthand the pride we take in supporting Indian Grinding Rock State Historic Park.

In order to meet our mission we rely on the generosity of individuals and businesses for support. Without the assistance of community-minded individuals just like you, we wouldn't be able to serve those in our community each year.

We ask that you make a commitment to support our annual appeal by making a cash donation. This year our goal is $10,000, and we hope that you will be able to make a contribution. Your generosity will make a difference allowing us to continue in our work.

We are asking for your help. Remember no donation is too small.

Thank you, in advance, for your help.

Sincerely,

Sharon Jenkins

President, Indian Grinding Rock Association
